Company History

WebMax started as a single proprietorship business sometime May of 1997 as a purely web design outfit. Established by Carlos Paglinawan, after working in New York, USA as a web systems developer, he felt the time was just right for the business since the internet boom was just starting to catch on in the Philippines.

Over the years, WebMax has evolved from simple static web design pages to full blown dynamic web based systems, web hosting and customize database system development. By February 26, 2003, WebMax was officially registered under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC Reg. No. CS200304794) and its official corporate name was changed to WebMax Multimedia Designs Incorporated.

Under this new corporate image, WebMax has added a host of services in the area of computer multimedia, that is, interactive CD-ROM, computer based training, desktop publishing and many more.
